Urgent Eye Surgery

Hey guys! For those who don't know me, my name is Rene. I've just found out today that my dad needs to have an urgent eye operation. Unfortunately, this is a special kind of operation and is not covered under a health fund. We don't have this kind of money saved up and would postpone the surgery to save up if possible. They've told us that if he doesn't go through with it then his eyesight may be permanently lost. Most of us, including me, take our eyesight for granted and sometimes it takes something like this to make you realise just how important it is and how essential it is to your quality of life. I can't bear the thought of him losing his eyesight just because we couldn't afford the surgery at the time. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
