Help save Prodigy. Prodigy's health has been declining over the last few months. He's been to numerous vets and finally today we received the answer as to why.
There is a mass which needs to be removed immediately from his spleen or within that area. Prodigy is having difficultly keeping food down due to this mass and has lost 20+ pounds.
Prodigy's dad has saved many dogs lives and has a pitbull rescue www.facebook.com/ABBRescue dedicated to rescuing those in need. He helped save my dog Sweet P's life and helped arrange the funeral for my souldog Shortys death last year.
It's time to return the favor and help Mike with his dearest love... Prodigy.

Message taken from Prodigy's Dads FB page: Good thoughts and a small miracle for Prodigy please. Here he is on his new bed after the latest vet visit...bad news. His last x-ray in December showed a slightly enlarged spleen, but not enough out of the norm to raise immediate red flags. The last x-Ray today showed a large mass which is either the spleen itself or on/around the spleen, so big you can't even see the kidneys in the x-Ray. It is pushing on his stomach causing weight loss (20 lbs so far) and vomiting if he eats too much. Viewing indicates spleen or spleen related and likely not liver, but he must have surgery to determine exact issue(s). Bottom line, I will be scheduling surgery very soon and will have to somehow come up with the couple thousand it will likely cost, it's happening no matter what. Either they go in and determine it is operable and he can be saved, or if it is bad enough, he does not get woken up and is euthanized there on the table. I hope not, but this MAY be Prodigy's last week. Any way anyone knows of that I can earn extra money, please message, call, or email me...I want to save my boy and will take on any task to do so.
