Remembering Our Hero Carlos

Just 3 short months after relocating to TN, Carlos  was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer at 39 years old! On September 16, 2013 Carlos went to the doctor with a stomach ache that had started 3 days before. 2 days, a liver biopsy and multiple scans and tests revealed that Carlos had Cancer! In 5 days he went from having a stomach ache to having terminal cancer! The cancer has spread to Carlos liver as well as his lungs! He is currently doing chemotherapy every Thursday in hopes of slowing down the cancer! There is no cure for Pancreatic Cancer! Carlos has an 18 year old daughter in her first year of college and a 15 yr old son in his first year of high school!
While Carlos has health insurance, he was diagnosed just 4 short days before his benefits (life, disbaility, etc) kicked in from a new job. We are raising money to help him and his family with medical and everyday expenses. Please join our cause! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
