Bear needs a bed for Nocturnal dialysis

Donation protected
Two years ago on Easter Sunday Bear lost his kidney function and had to be placed on hemodialysis. Bear received dialysis at Fresenius clinic in Springfield, Mo for 3 months. After speaking with his social worker and nurses the decision was made to train to do hemodialysis at home. Bear and Brandie his wife were trained and started doing dialysis at home. Bear dialyzes a minimum of three days per week. Fluid retention is a big problem with kidney disease and Bear struggles daily. The nephrologist has recommended that Bear switch to nocturnal dialysis. this would allow Bear to get much better dialysis and remove more fluid resulting in a longer, better quality of life. The matress that Bear currently sleeps on is sagging and broken down. In order to do nocturnal dialysis he would need a new bed. The optimal situation would be an adjustable mattress that would allow him to raise the bed automatically. It is almost impossible to raise up when you are hooked up to a dialysis machine. These beds are very pricy. Since Bear was placed on dialysis he has been unable to work full time as dialysis takes at least 20-25 hrs per week. Nocturnal dialysis would allow Bear to get his days back. Bear continues to work part time and would love to be able to have more time and energy to live a full life. Would you consider a donation big or small anything helps. Bear is a giver and he needs our help.
