Pure Heart Joseph Buchanan Benefit Fund

Joseph  is a man who believes that creating and giving love back to the community in which one lives is essential and necessary.  Now, we are in need of love and support.  Joseph is a giver and humanitarian.  His love has ben expressed to underserved children in Little Rock and Tulsa, to refugees fleeing Tibet to safety in India, to serving his country in the military and to selflessly helping friends and neighbors when needed.  His love has been unconditional, seeking nothing in return. 

Now, Joseph needs a new heart!  Diagnosed with Viral Cardiomyopathy in 2010, Joseph has since undergone three ablation procedures in hopes of helping his heart.  Those efforts have been unsuccessful.  In the past year, Joseph has been in the hospital three times due to complications from his condition.  At present, his heart is functioning at fifteen percent (15%).  We have begun and will continue on the difficult journey of testing and waiting to find a heart.  Fulfilling the daily needs of life has become increasingly challenging, as the our income has become seriously compromised by Joseph's health and financial reserves are quickly being exhausted.  As a Vietnam vet, many of Joseph's medical expenses are covered; however, there are many expenses that are not covered by the VA.  This is where your help comes in.
