On February 14, 2014, John Yacovella III passed away, alone in Miami, FL after a short illness at the age 55. His father, John Jr. passed away just three days prior. Now my son, John IV is dealing with the loss of a parent (and grandparent) and making the funeral arrangements for his father, being he was his only child. We divorced when he was 8. John III moved out of state several years ago and did not have very much contact with his son over the years but was always very proud of him and loved him very much and called him when ever he could.

Unfortunatley, John III did not have life insurance and my son only earns enough to keep a roof over his head and this is a financial burden he cannot afford. You see, after John III moved away he began living a bit of an unstable life ...so it is my hope that holding a Celebration of Life will help provide my son Johnny with some closure and allow him a peaceful lasting impression of his father. One that is indicative of the memories I have of the early years of Johnny's life. To have John's friends and relatives all speak good memories and thoughts of John as a young father will help quash any of the not so good memories and allow Johnny some closure.

Funds are greatly needed to have his father cremated and returned to Cleveland where we can have a proper funeral
service for a father that he had not seen since 2002 and sadly, will never see again.
