<div>I am reaching out as a daughter devastated by the loss my loving parents have endured in the Eaton fire. In a matter of moments, their lives were turned upside down as they were forced to evacuate with no time to prepare. Living blocks away from each other in the same city, they both lost each of their homes. in a matter of hours, they have both lost everything—their home, their work, and the very foundation of their lives.

<div>Altadena wasn’t just where my parents lived; it was where they built a life filled with memories, community, and purpose. It was home to their work and their passions.

<div>My mother, a dedicated bus driver, has been profoundly impacted as local schools were also destroyed in the fire, leaving her without her livelihood. My father, an entrepreneur, lost his home office and workspace, along with irreplaceable documents that were essential to his business.

<div>This tragedy has left them not only without their cherished memories and belongings but also without the stability of their daily routines—routines that made life manageable and meaningful.
