Ramadan Mubarak to you and your loved ones!
On the night of April 27 Qardho, which is a major city in the region of Karkar, Puntland, was hit with major flash floods due to heavy rains in the region.
These flash floods resulted in countless destruction ranging from houses being flooded, roads being damaged, food storages being destroyed, etc...
Many families are being affected by this disaster and have been uprooted from their livelihood. As of right now, there are 6 confirmed deaths and many more are missing!
Qardho needs our help, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." [Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604]
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $13,000 in order to aid families that have been afflicted by this disaster.
