Theatre in Edinburgh Scotland

For those who do not know, my name is Devin Gallo. I am a current sophomore theatre major at Kent State University, and I have been given the amazing opportunity, along with a troop of 8 other students, to travel to Edinburg Scotland for the worlds largest arts festivle this summer, to perform!!!
I was lucky enough to become a co-writer this year on my friend Dan Eberts show, a Collection of Grimm Fairytales!!!! Along with helping to write the show, I will be heading up the technical aspects of the show, including lighting and sound.
The task ahead will not be easy but will be extremely rewarding in more than one aspect. It gives me the opportunity to further developed my artistic ability and technical skills, as well as the chance to explore theatre in a new professional enviorment, and other parts of the world, all with a wonderful team of eight other incredible talented students, and two extremely encouraging and helpful KSU faculty members.
However I can't make his dream a reality without some help and support from my loving friends and family. Our production cost have been paid for by Kent State University's School of Theatre and Dance, including our venue in Scotland, but we are now faced with the task of our travel expenses, our living situation, and other expenses along the way.
Any little bit will help me see my dream of performing in Edinburgh become a reality, and as this is Kent States first trip to Scotland, you would also be a crucial member in helping to lay the pathway that we hope to make a tradition at Kent, alowing other hopeful students to follow in our footsteps in the future!!!!
