Kenya Mission Trip

Family and Friends,
I have been given the very exciting opportunity to go on a mission trip this summer to Nairobi, Kenya from July 11-21st with a team from my college. We will be in a slum called the Korogocho slum in Nairobi and working to reach out and spread the gospel to these people. We will be preparing bible lessons, worship, and crafts for VBS as well as doing home visits with the parents of the of the children to build relationships and share Jesus' name. I am extremely excited about this opportunity as I have felt God's calling on my heart to be a missionary and am currently attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix to obtain a major in elementary education and a minor in biblical studies. The cost of this trip is about $3,500. I would greatly appreciate any contributions as well as would love lots of prayer both during this time to prepare my heart and reach my financial goals as well as for my team and I while we are on this trip. Whether you feel led to contribute financially or through prayer, I appreciate all support greatly!
