Dad has been battling several medical challenges such as surviving multiple heart attacks in one year, being put on oxygen, diabetes, mutiple respiratory infections and countless others problems. Durng the week of February 24, 2014 Dad had been sick all week and it was decided he needed to go to the E.R (March 1st). After being in the ambulance he stopped breathing then had a heart attack, CPR was perform for 20 minutes. He was tubed and stabilized. A CT scan was done and it showed no bleeding on the brain and no blood clots in the lungs. He was been put into a medically induced coma and his core body temperature was cooled down to preserve his body and organs. Once he was cooled down the doctors waited 24 hours to begin warming his body up. As his body was warmed up 3 of his organs began to fail: his heart, lungs and kidneys. Dad was offically warmed up on Tuesday just before lunch. During the morning, Dad began to fight the coma medicatons and opened his eyes. The nurse did a quick test and confirm that dad really did open his eyes on his own while I was standing with him. So the doctors had to give him some more meds to let him sleep. Around lunch time the nurse changed dads foley cathether to a bigger guage. He then began to produce urine and alot of it. Which was a good sign , accordng to the doctors, his kidneys were no longer failing. Through out the afternoon into the evening Dads lungs were struggling to breathe. Later on in the evening the doctors looked at dads brainwaves which determined there was no activity. It was then decided that daddy was no longer there. The doctors proceeded to let Daddy go on his own. At 12:57 am on Wednesday March 5, 2014 Daddy left this world to be with our other loved ones we have lost.
Here I am asking everyone for some help to give my father the burial he deserves. I am begging for your help and support. Please help me bury my father.
