Luna's Hip Surgery

We found out a little over a year ago that our dog has hip dysplasia... It explained a lot of things about her and her behavior. She was less than two years old at the time.

Now she’s three and despite managing it as best we can, it’s gotten exponentially worse. She’s such a playful and loving dog, but any time she runs or wrestles for any amount of time, she ends up in so much pain she can barely stand or walk (the YouTube videos show some of what that looks like). The cold weather also really affects her, which means that the last few months have been especially rough. 

We know a lot of dog parents feel the same way, but Luna is more than a pet to Tyler and me – she's a member of the family. We want to give her the best life possible, but it’s hard to do that while restricting her activity so much.  Pretty much the only option we have left is this one – fixing her hips!

Unfortunately, the surgery is expensive and not covered by pet insurance because it's a pre-existing condition. So we're asking for a little help with our special bean. If you can give, share, or even just send a bit of love our way, we cannot thank you enough. Everything helps. Thank you!
