Bailey Mission Internship to Haiti

Zach and I have the opportunity to go to Haiti this summer for a two month internship! This internship will cover two of my credits that go toward graduating Spring of 2015. The organization we are going with is called Global Vision Citadel Ministries.
On this trip we will be doing many various types of projects. The projects Zach will be doing are construction and microfinancing through chicken coop construction, along with muliple other projects. I will be working with the orphans at the orphange run by GVCM, as well as any other projects that I am needed for. Since we are going to such a flexible country, we have been told to expect to be flexible and open to helping wherever we are needed.
This will be my second time going to Haiti and I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to return! Zach has not been to Haiti before but is also excited to grow in his knowledge of financing in other countries and on a smaller scale. Zach is currently going to Boise State University and will be graduating Spring of 2015 with two bachelors degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Human Resource Management. This trip will hopefully help him get more business experience.
We are in need of support for this trip and the largest need is prayer support. We want to be effective and helpful on this trip, as well as learn about God and his ministry goals in Haiti. We will also be in a new environment where we will experience a new culture, warm weather, and new customs. It will be challenging and very rewarding, but we want God to guide us throughout this trip so that we always keep our focus on Him.
The other need we have for this trip is on a financial level. We need to raise around $3,600 dollars. Our plane tickets will cost around $2,000 combined, and we will be paying roughly $100.00 a week per person to purchase food and pay for the cost of housing and transportation. Since we will be there for 8 weeks, the cost of living for both of us combined will be around $1,600.00. Any extra money we raise will go towards supporting the orphanage.
