Love for Logan

I have created this page in the hope to help an amazing family that truly needs it. Meet Logan, an amazing 7-year-old boy with more fight than anyone I know. And standing behind him, holding his hand through every obstacle, his mother Candice.  The road has been a difficult one. Logan was diagnosed at a young age with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).  Candice has worked hard to provide Logan with the best care he deserves and needs. This has come at a cost. As a single parent who goes to school full time, while trying to work at the same time, Candice is left to pay for all therapy, dietary needs, medication, and private education. 

In late July, Candice and Logan moved into a new place to call home.  At the beginning of September, Logan began to express overwhelming feelings of unexplained pain. By October, Candice was given the news that Logan has been diagnosed with a rare disease that will have to be managed for the rest of his life.  While seeing countless doctors and a naturopath, it was brought to Candice's attention that there may be mold in the house that she has been renting. Her home has been inspected and it has been confirmed that there are three kinds of mold growing in her basement.  Candice and Logan were instructed to leave their home and their belongings as it was is an extremely unfit environment for her and Logan to be living in. 

It is believed that the mold could have been a contributing environmental factor that triggered this disease and made him get worse.
