Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

My name is Creshawn and I have started this campaign on behalf of my family, who like so many others in Houston, were adversely affected by Hurricane Harvey. For anyone who truly knows me, you know that I would not normally do this. We have been so blessed in our lives, and love the fact that we are generally in a position to be givers. My mom was  settling into semi-retirement, my sister bought her first home all on her own 2 years ago, and we've all recently returned from wonderful vacations. The recent events of this hurricane have devestated our city and the vast amount of wide spread flooding came as a complete shock. My parents lost 3 vehicles, have ceiling and flooring damage, lost all downstairs funiture including kitchen and master bedroom, and appliances as a result of 4 feet of water getting into the house, as well as everything in the garage and outdoor shed. And sadly, this is not the first occurance for this type of loss. In 2001, Tropical storm Allison delivered the same fate. Unfortunately the expenses of such a large scale renovation is not unfamiliar. Only this time, we will also need to repair my sister Amanda's home. And so now I humbly ask for your help. I want to help my family get back into their homes and so many of you have reached out to us asking to be of service. Well, any donation that you have to offer will be a tremendous help.
