Help Me Help My Kidney Donor

It's time for my transplant! My amazing friend, Bridget, has been accepted as a donor and our surgery date will be in early April! This is, to sum it up, a huge deal.
Bridget has been a friend since 5th grade, when my family moved to Illinois from Michigan. She is a friend who I did a LOT of laughing with as we grew up. There were countless sleepovers, days spent at the neighborhood pool, school projects, mall trips, our own made up radio show recorded on cassettes, her cool sisters, many books shared, tons of inside jokes and phrases on rotation.. Best friend stuff.
Now she is giving me a kidney.
I am setting up this fund because I want to help ease the expenses of bringing Bridget's boyfriend to Chicago for the surgery. He will be flying in from New Zealand on short notice, and that is not cheap! Every bit raised here will go towards the travel expenses, and every little bit helps.
