1st Grader seriously injured by vehicle

On his way to school, first-grade student Peter was seriously injured while crossing an intersection in Phoenix, Arizona. He was transported to and is still at a local hospital with serious injuries.

He is awaiting a series of surgeries. At this point, a clear prognosis on the extent of his injuries is unclear but we are hopeful for his recovery.

This has been a tough and traumatic ordeal for the student, his family and the entire community of Imagine Cortez Park where Peter attends school.

We know that educators and other people all over the country will pull together and will want to support this student and his family by making a contribution.
