Supporting Friend of Cali Car Theft

He just wanted a better life; a simple life really. It was a cold and dark night when our American compatriot fell on hard times. 

This hero who has dedicated hours of service to his community, country, and inspired all that know him - has been left carless ( stolen) and far from home with less resources. 

That's why I'm calling on you'll. For all those times that Brett has supported his friends, family, and community - this is an avenue to return the support for this man who we all love.

Brett is a gentleman among gentlemen, searching for the American dream in a new state and among new people. Someone shook this confidence in equity as they horrendously stole his car, all of his clothes ("perhaps a blessing in disguise"), his personally identifying items (tax returns and worse), and created an environment where it would be quite easy to lose hope.

Brett transcended despair though. In his Brett-like, noble, way, he shared his story on Facebook as "But it's all just 'stuff.' Even if the police cannot recover it, it is replaceable. I'm blessed with good health and humor."

We cannot undo what's been done. But we each can make Brett's hardship a little more bearable.

The support provided here will go towards the replacement of his clothes and possessions and the $300/year Life Lock identity protection that he now will need to maintain.

As you can imagine, Brett was pretty choked-up at the support he's already received via social media and over the phone. He humbly and barely agreed to allow Kevin and I to set this up on his behalf.
