795 Project

We are a local charity that serves the homeless with care packages based on the season we are in. The 795 projects were inspired by the statistic that 795 million people are starving in the world and go to sleep hungry. We want to create a community of people that interact with the homeless and see that they are people who have the same needs as we do. We believe that change starts with one person at a time. 

All funds will go towards making care packages for the homeless that will feed and hydrate them, keep them warm with mittens, hats, socks and scarfs/neck warmers and a hygienic package that will give them a chance to clean up. (We also supply women with a specific menstrual package that contains pads, tampons and wipes) 

We are planning a  winter care package hand out in December and January when Toronto will reach extreme temperature conditions (up to -20 degrees).
