79 Year Old Woman Brutally Attacked

MEET MY FRIEND ELLIE HOLMES...My appoligies I was mistaken... This picture of Ellie was taken a couple of years ago (NOT A FEW DAYS BEFORE) the brutal attack. Ellie has been feeling under the weather it seems that she has gotten the flu. I think it is a combonation of being home and all her visitors. Please remember to share Ellie's Go Fund Me Page. Ellie is home now after 18 days in the hospital... And she is doing amazingly well...  PLEASE CONTIUE TO SUPPORT ELLIE As she now has to purchase new DENTURES (she was told by VICTIM SERVICES, that should get new DENTURES but I guess she misunderstood because she now has to pay out of pocket (She just recently purchased dentures $4000.00) she can not afford another pair. Please continue to donate and share.... THANK YOU On April 29, 2019 a 79 year old woman was brutally attacked by someone she knew very well.  Her name is Ellie Holmes, really we should call her "Amazing Ellie" Ellie is apprx  5'4 and weighs about 115 lbs.  Her attacker was much larger and stronger with a mental illness which makes him 10x's    stronger then Ellie He took Ellie in her own car and beat her in her car and then left her for dead... Bailey's Shine Shop on Compass CRT in West Kelowna has graciously donated their services to clean and Ellie's SUV from the blood splatter.   Ellie would love not to have these tragic memories of what happen in  her SUV but she can not afford a new car since she just put over $500 in repairs to the car.  We are not sure yet but we think he did some  electrical damage and got rid of the keys.  (No second set) I know Ellie from the park where she lives, as I am the Office Manager at Westview Village MHP. Ellie comes into my office often just to come and say "HI" and brighten my day and tell me her life stories. I went to visit Ellie in the hospital today and I was surprised and  shocked when I walked in and saw this beautiful woman with a big  bright toothless  smile  (Ellie wasn't sure where here dentures ended up which she just bought a few months before and paid $4000.00 for) as I walked in, Ellie said "Lori your probably don't recognize me, I didn't when I looked in the mirror".  As she was smiling at me. Being a 79 year old woman on a fixed income Ellie still had to take on odd jobs to make ends meet and to keep her aging home from falling  apart.  Ellie had a bathroom reno started (which will not be finished by the person that started the reno) and is now in desperate need of completion.  Her water lines under her home have sprung leaks but Ellie just doesn't have the money to repair them, since she had just finished her repairs on her roof of her home. Even though Ellie didn't have any money she always tried hard to keep her yard nice with what she had... Ellie would plant flowers wherever  she could. Ellie has many many months of healing both physically and mentally.  (Ellie is still in of surgery, but they will not be doing it until she has healed more) I am trying to make this new transition in Ellie life a little easier on her  as Ellie will not be able to work (Why should she at this age) If you can please DONATE EVEN $5.00 PLEASE PLEASE DONATE **All the Donations will be going to Ellie for whatever she will need, since Ellie can not receive these donations into her own bank account right now I have opened a separate account (in my name) for the FUNDS to go into until Ellie is home from the hospital.  At that time I will be meeting with Ellie      and her daughter Gail and presenting her with a Money Order for Ellie to deposit into her account when she is feeling better.   I want to thank everyone for all of you love and support for Ellie ** Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.. LETS ALL PULL TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY AND HELP "AMAZING ELLIE"       ELLIE HOLMES https://www.castanet.net/news/West-Kelowna/255389/support-for-beaten-woman
