Welcome to The 79th Group fundraising page.
During July, our team will be raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice by putting the car keys down, and picking up their trainers instead! We’ll be pushing ourselves to run, walk or cycle 79 Miles each over the month to raise money, and we would love your help.
Based not far from our UK headquarters, the amazing team at Claire House provide invaluable medical care and support to seriously and terminally ill children and their families. They help the children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences, bringing a sense of normality back to family life, and making them smile again when life couldn’t get tougher.
After visiting, our Chairman, Dave Webster and his son’s Jake and Curtis were blown away by the hard work needed to keep Claire House running, as they’re primarily funded by donations. The 79th Group then pledged to raise money for the Hospice throughout the year by naming them as our chosen charity for 2021.
Please help us raise as much as possible! We appreciate these are challenging times, and every single penny donated is appreciated. Just £20.18 would pay for a Claire House nurse for an hour, which is needed more than ever at the moment.
