Fundraiser for Pregnant Mothers in Need

Hello!
I am Clare Smith, and I have the amazing opportunity of participating in the Villa Montessori Heroic Journey. The Heroic Journey is created and designed to give kids a different perspective on life, that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. It helps you to set a goal and achieve it. For my goal, I have chosen to start a diaper drive and fundraiser for my personal favorite non-profit agency called Maggie's Place.
I have had the amazing experience of an Ally also. My Ally, Casey Jackson, has been there for me to talk to throughout my entire experience. She has been a big part of pushing me to achieve my goal and helping me to stick with it.
Maggie's Place is a home of hospitality for single mothers to go with young children to keep their feet on the ground when they're going through a rough time. Maggie's Place provides short term housing, clothing, food and other resources to help each and every mother get back on her feet. It is non-profit organization that makes mothers and children feel like they CAN do something in life, and that they CAN reach their goals, even if it's with the help of others. I actually know somebody that went to Maggie's Place as a new mother. She went in as one person and came out a completely different one. Looking at many stories, I truly realized just how hard they work to change these mothers and children's lives.
This truly inspired me and has really been a huge inspiration of making me stay true to my goal. I am really hoping to be able to give back to Maggie's Place, and in the near future other non-profit agencies, so that they know that they have been making changes in numerous amounts of peoples lives. Though I was never there to even experience the place, it has inspired me to make a change in myself, and raise awareness to everybody else that we are so lucky to have everything that we have from food, clothing, fresh water, and a roof over our head. I feel that the members of Maggie's Place have really made me notice that, and for that lesson, I am forever grateful.
I am reaching out and really hoping that this has made you even more grateful and aware of the gifts life has provided. Each pregnant or new mother has a different set of needs. By donating money towards this cause you will have the opportunity to reach each mother's needs one dollar at a time. ALL proceeds will go to Maggie's Place.
