7 brave men are going to shave/dye their beards/hair to raise much needed funds for The North Wexford Hospice.

The County Wexford Hospice Homecare service was established in 1991 by a voluntary committee to provide a home based Specialist Palliative Care Service in County Wexford.

The aim of the service is to enhance the palliative care of patients in the home and the community who are referred to our service, and to support and assist their families and professional carers.

This service is available to people throughout County Wexford. The service is provided by a team of specialist palliative care nurses – 365 days per year.

The service is funded through voluntary donations from organisations and individuals throughout the county. It is also supported by an annual subvention from the HSE.

All money raised in County Wexford stays in County Wexford. Every cent raised goes to the nursing care.

Unfortunately under the current Covid-19 circumstances the annual fundraising events such as the 'Hope and Dream Run', 'The Hospice BBQ' and many more events cannot take place.

Our bearded men include Micheal Furlong, Matty Forde, Richard Deering and Joe Sullivan . Our courageous men that are going to dye their hair are Paul Boyle, Donal 'Duck' Kenny and Stevie Redmond.
Follow our facebook page to see daily updates and live videos of these men going under the razor.

The North Wexford Hospice are under severe strain, we would be delighted if you could join in on the craic and help us to fundraise by donating to this great cause. No matter how little or large every donation will be appreciated.
