Please Help Domestic Abuse Vitctim

Dear friends and family, For more than 30 years I have been best friends with the woman whose story you will read in brief below. I have personally witnessed more despicable acts by her abusive husband than I want to count. She has fled to my home several times. As a result, her husband moved them across the country away from any family or friends who can help. He has kept her financially crippled and she has nothing. She is doing what she can to help herself and her child, but those helping resources take time. She needs immediate help to buy her and her child time. She is on disability and has very limited income, physical limitations and lots of medical needs. She receives a small disability check, but his recent retaliatory actions will expend most of the money leaving nothing for her to help herself with. She has absolutely no access to any of his income or accounts. Please consider sharing and donating whatever amount you are able. Every dollar makes their safe escape more likely. Unfortunately, the man I fell in love with and continued to choose to love every day is only a mirage. I thought I found a soulmate, but I finally accepted that he's no soulmate... he's an expert in manipulation, control, coercion, intimidation and domination.  I would like to say that I was too smart to get caught up in something like this, but sadly, that is not the case. This man preyed on my compassion, loyalty, trust, and love and used them against me.  I am terrified for us to spend another night under his roof. He is frightening and unpredictable.
