Justice For Corey

Yesterday evening my dad was coming home from a nice  motorcycle ride. There was a car behind him trying to run him off the road. As he approached the stop sign the man was yelling out his window at him. So my dad responded to him (staying on his  motorcycle)  because he got nervous because he was trying to run him off the road. Little did my dad know the guy got out of his car and sucker punched my 66 year old dad in the face causing  severe trauma to his eye and face.   They took him to Lagrange Hospital by  ambulance.  While he was there they did a CT scan and found that his face is broken.  He was Also choking on blood in his throat.  They transferred him to Borgess hospital  where he found he could have severe trauma to his eye.  He’s waiting to talk to the surgeon to figure out when he will get surgery. 


Our family is so sickened over this. Who would do this to someone let alone an older man.  The person who  assaulted my dad was charged with only assault and battery and 30 minutes after was released on bail.  My dad  doesn’t work he collect Social Security  which isn’t much.  He also takes care of his autistic best friend (As his job)  and won’t be able to work for a while so he will be losing another source of income. 


We as asking you to help donate even a dollar helps towards medical bills and a  lawyer to get this man in jail. 

Please  consider donating anything. At this time I put in 5,000 because I’m not sure of the amount he will owe but I’m sure with  everything he’s going through it will be even more.  He doesn’t have the best insurance.
