To support children who are living on the streets of East Africa. Every childs situation will be examined on an individual basis.
For the continual benefit of children arriving on the streets we would like to build night shelters in Kitale, Kenya, as well as Jinja and Kampala in Uganda.
On individual basis' my host family have offered to accomodate 2 boys who we feel are ready to go back to school. We want to raise tuition fees to assist them in attending the local day school. We have two more teenage boys we would like to send to boarding school and several young men who we'd like to support in gaining employment. One wants to make his driving licence to become a driver; another other wants help buying equipment to start his own car wash company through which he could employ other boys and young men on the street.
We already have a boys home in Mbale, Uganda which we would like to expand into outreach work so that it is not just a few boys who are being reached but many, continuously.
