I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a young mother in Indiana who is facing an incredibly difficult situation. Her husband, a hardworking man who provided for their family, was arrested while on his way home from work for not having a driver’s license. After being held in jail for a month awaiting his court date, instead of being released, he was unexpectedly turned over to immigration authorities and is now being deported to Mexico.

This has left his wife alone here in Indiana with their two-year-old daughter. She has been a stay-at-home mom caring for their child, while her husband worked to support them. Now, without his income, she is struggling to cover rent, bills, and groceries while she looks for a job to provide for herself and her little girl.

We are asking for support during this transition period so she can keep a stable home for her daughter and not fall behind while she gets back on her feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward essential living expenses like housing, utilities, and food.
