Entrepreneurial & Leadership Projects - LUKMEF Youth Forum 2014 in Cameroon, West Africa
Help fund Entrepreneurial and Leadership Projects for Youth in Cameroon!
By donating to the LUKMEF Youth Forum, you will be contributing to the future of these young people who are committed to increasing employment; reducing poverty and dependancy and making Cameroon a better place.
The projects require funds to hire an Educator and Leader to train the youth in the many areas required to become a successful Entrepreneur and Leader, as well as to train them physically in preparation for the climb up Mt. Cameroon. Supplies, room rental fees, transportation are also needed as part of the project.
A donation today will help these bold, emerging leaders to gain the skills and education needed to create empowering lives with more initiative and peace and less poverty.
The LUKMEF Youth Forum in Limbe, Cameroon is composed of a remarkable group of young people who are involved in their communities, schools and even speak on a local radio station voicing their opinions about the goings-on in their country.
By funding these projects, you will be helping these youth to receive training in public speaking and presentation skills; also the youth want to objectively learn more about the present Cameroonian leadership and have unbiased thinking of what is working well and what could be changed in future.
Another key objective of these projects is to assist the youth to build innovative ideas to better the life of an average Cameroonian youth - youth of today and for years to come.
The focus of all these clubs, activities and sessions will be peace, gender equity, increasing employment and reducing poverty as well as self-definition.
The climb up Mt Cameroon, the second highest mountain in Africa, has been a venture of the LUKMEF Youth Forum since 2009. Training for the ascent requires physical and mental preparation - and they will also need financial assistance to enable the climb to happen again in 2014. The climbing fees, transportation, tent and gear rental are a few of the items needed to participate.
