Transportation Fund

As a grad student, part-time clinic assistant, and newly single mom, I have found that the kiddos and I are struggling with reliable transportation. Last week my primary vehicle went back to lender as payments were not met due to circumstances beyond my control. I cannot make those payments up on our meager budget. My sweet little Beetle, Lotte Blu, has been getting repaired by a friend but I cannot allow him to bear the cost and the loaner vehicle I have from another generous soul is very fond of gas!

We all fall on hard times and it is embarrassing to ask but we could use some help to either get my car back or get folks I have been relying on paid back and acquire an additional, inexpensive vehicle to get us all around in.

If I am going to get my car back, my deadline is October 3. Otherwise, as with so many things during the past six months, I will let it go...
