Bobbys Hope Cancer Treatment

We have found a cancer treatment that is VERY promising and we need your help!
For anyone who does not know it already, you can read our story below.

My husband is the greatest man on earth. Okay, I might be a little partial, but non the less. My husband and I met in February 1997 on a blind date, 8 months later we were married. At the time we got married, he had a 2 year old daughter, and I had a 1 year old daughter who he adopted as his own in 1998. That same year we had another daughter, and our 4th and final child, another girl in 2000. It takes a hero to be a dad, it takes a super hero to be a dad to 4 girls! I was only 17 when we got married, we have always felt we beat the odds getting married and having children so young, but nothing could have prepared us for the fight we had ahead of us.
In 2012 my husband started having strange symptoms of headaches and strange smells from out of nowhere. He is (was) an airbrush artist, painting the most beautiful motorcycles and murals I have ever seen so naturally we attributed these strange symptoms to exposure to the paint chemicals, after all he has always been a picture of good health. After about 4 months of symptoms that only seemed to be getting worse, we found ourselves at the ER (our only option with out insurance). We considered many diagnoses, but nothing could have prepared us for what we were about to hear, brain tumor. Even then we could not have imagined the extent of it. They immediately admitted him into the hospital and started him on a huge amount of steroids for fear he was on the verge of a massive stroke. This was on a Saturday, on Monday when we finally were able to speak to a surgeon the bad news just kept coming. This tumor is the size of a very large orange or a softball and would require surgery as soon as possible which happened the next day. His Doctor only removed a small portion in hopes that my husband could go back to work and continue creating the art he loves so much. Unfortunately, that was not in the cards for us, he hasn't painted or even drawn anything since. After the surgery, we were told the tumor is a grade 2 Glioma. We opted to not do any treatments and instead to keep an eye on it and try to treat the symptoms of head aches and strange smells which as it turns out are seizures which he was having up to 15 times a day.
Fast forward a year and a half to December 2013. He started having increased symptoms including headaches, fatigue, slurred speech, and weakness in his limbs. He had come down with the flu so we thought (hoped) the symptoms were because of that, but they weren't getting better. On January 13th I called home during my lunch break to see how he was and instantly knew something was not right. I came straight home and headed back to the ER with him shortly after. He was again admitted immediately to the hospital. He was weak, couldn't walk very well and could hardly speak. It was 11:00pm that night when his surgeon who had been held up in surgery with another patient was able to come see us. I was not at all prepared for the conversation that followed. He told me he was concerned about whether my husband would make it through the night and asked if I wanted them to perform "life saving measures" including life support if he "crashed" overnight. I still can hardly breath just thinking about it.
He made it through the night and was taken in for his second, more aggressive surgery the next day, January 14, 2014. The next day we were told the tumor has progressed and is now a grade 3. Of course the medical protocol is Chemo and Radiation done simultaneously. We have researched these treatments knowing that some day we would be confronted with them being our "best" option so we knew that we didn't want to go down that road. While doing that research we came across the plethora of stories out there about medical marijuana. My husband had never even tried it as a teenager, but after doing the research and reading so many success stories, we were convinced this was our path.
We have been blessed in so many ways through all of this. Bobby is home and has been recovering from the surgery but time is of the essence and unless you wish to poison your body with Chemo and Radiation, there is little help for people like us.
I can not lose him. His 4 daughters need him here to see them graduate and to walk them down the isle. He is only 39 years old and has so much more to do here on earth.
I ask that you consider him for this beautiful gift you have to give and allow us, our whole family to be your success story. Thank you!
