Landen's Cochlear Implants

Hey Everyone!
We're trying to raise money to get Landen new bilateral cochlear implants. He was born profoundly deaf in November 2007 and was bilaterally implanted when we was only 1 year 4 days old. It was a slow start getting him to hear the way he needed to, but once we got him going he never stopped. We started him in an Auditory Verbal preschool in Kettering, Ohio when he was only 2 1/2. It was the best thing we could have ever done for him. When he started he could only mutter "ughh ohh" and by the end of that first school year he was speaking full sentences. He has went through hours and hours of speech therapy, and we have fought every school he's attended to get him the proper care and amenities needed for learning. We've continouslusy fought with evey insurance company we have been with so they would cover his speech therapy, specialist visits and so on. Our fight seems to never end, and it probably never will.
He has only been able to hear from the right side since late August. At the time our insurance company told us that they were not covered and they are no longer in warranty. We have since then changed insurance companies and they cover them but not without a $6,000 out of pocket expense. Landen is starting to struggle in school because his only working implant continuously turns on and off periodically during the day. We've struggled for 3 years to get Landen new cochlear implants and we can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. He has strived and worked so very hard to get where he is now and we as parents can't afford let him down now.
