Medical Mission Trip to El Salvador

Kenzie and I have recently been accepted to go on a medical mission trip to the country of El Salvador with the Christian medical and Dental Association (CMDA). We are flying out of Chicago early May 31st and will return June 8th. Kenzie has been to El Salvador on this trip twice before and this will be her 5th trip with CMDA. I have never been on a mission trip, and Kenzie is so excited for us to experience this adventure together. It's also a way we are celebrating Kenzie's graduation from medical school as she will graduate May 24th.
While in El Salvador, we will be treating an underserved population, including children, who are unable to afford/have no access to primary medical, dental, or eye care. As you can imagine, we will see a lot of sickness- parasites, worms, infections, diseases, and illnesses (some of which I may never see in the US), as well as routine medical problems. We're expecting to treat between 2500-3000 people during the week we are there!
We are responsible for obtaining the funds to participate, the majority of which goes toward medications, air travel, meals and lodging for the 9 days we will be serving in El Salvador. Therefore, we are asking for everyone's help. Please give what you can, and if you cannot give at this current time, don't worry. All we ask is that you keep us in your prayers.
You can also help by collecting/donating small children's toys or small gifts that represent your/our home town that we can give to the children at the clinic as well as our translators and guides for the week as a thank you for their service.
If you would like to mail a check and not use this site, please email, facebook, text, or call for our address. If you live in the Chamberlain, SD or Chicago, IL area, you may also drop off small gift donations at our respective parent's houses.
