College Education Help

Hi, my name is Elena Lazaridou. I am an international student from Greece, studying music at Gordon College full-time. My primary instrument is voice, and my studies are focused on classical music and opera.

Music has been such a blessing in my life and one of my biggest passions. It has shaped me into the person I am and has taught me so much, such as perseverance, determination, pushing my boundaries, and never giving up.

As an international student, I work as many hours as possible (as many hours as I am allowed based on my visa status). However, unfortunately, it is not enough to cover all the expenses. My parents have supported me as much as they are able.

As an international student, I am constrained on financial resources and have explored every possible avenue to the fullest extent.

Unfortunately, I am in such a tight place that my tuition issue is risking my visa status and preventing me from continuing my studies.

Any amount can make a huge difference and be a great support and encouragement! If you could help me financially in any way, that would be beyond appreciated.

In the future, I am hoping to be voice teacher, perform in chamber groups, opera productions, and further my education towards the music education field.

It would be a dream to be able to become an elementary music teacher. My biggest goal through my education is to encourage aspiring musicians by finding and developing their unique voice, helping young musicians build their musical confidence while creating a safe environment, and remind them of their worth and value!
