Andy's Hasc summer program experience

Hi, my name is Michelle Wudowsky, and this is my son Andy, he has autism and mild cerebral palsy. For the past 8 years, Andy has gone to the Hasc summer program in parksville, ny, where he has received his special education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. This was made possible by the New York City department of education, who agreed he should go and it happened. This year, they said no. We are not allowing it. My son has thrived in that program, learned so much, and exceeded his iep goals. Please let's make this happen again. Andy is an only child, and gets to play , run, interact with other children while there. He is in a safe environment. The supervision is astounding. The program is really a must see......please go to www.camphasc.org . See for yourself, and help me make this a reality for Andy. Ordinarily, I would NEVER do this, I just don't know which way to turn, so I am trying to fundraise for half the money, the amount the department of education would pay. If we win the impartial hearing this year, any and all monies would go towards the next years tuition. Thank you all and may Gd bless you ./>
