Gray Maters... Benefit for Brian Donoghue

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

The King's College Sports Medicine Society has organized a group of approximately 45 runners for the inaugural Scranton Half Marathon on April 6th, 2014.  The group, consisting of Athletic Training Education Program faculty and students, King's College coaches and athletes, and other members both inside and outside the campus community will be running to benefit Brian Donoghue, the women's basketball coach at King's College.

Coach Donoghue has been coaching at King's for the past nine years. This past summer he was diagnosed with brain cancer and has been courageously battling the disease while continuing to coach the Lady Monarchs this season.  He and his wife Andrea are the parents of three young children under the age of five.  We would like to raise money to benefit Coach Donoghue and his family in order to offset some of the medical costs.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the Donoghue family, and any contribution you could make in support of our efforts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration and may God bless you!

Sincerely,

The King's College Sports Medicine Society
