Studying abroad in Rome

My name is Alyssa. I am a Graphic Design major, and am looking to broaden my understanding of how different areas in the world utilize various artistic styles. I believe the best way to do this is to see them applied first hand, and to learn from those who utilize them directly. This January, 01/2019, my University is leading a two week study abroad trip to Rome, one of the richest hubs of art, architecture, and archaeology in the world. My application has been accepted, and I am running this crowdfunding campaign to cover the tuition, which includes transportation, housing, admission to exhibits, and educational supplies. It will also cover living expenses while there, such as food, laundry, and recreation. I intend to use recreational time to explore markets, and other high traffic business sectors, in order to analyze designs, and to inquire with locals about what catches their eye, in the graphics of their culture.
