Angela Lost Everything in Hurricane Zeta

Between the night of Wednesday, Oct. 28th and the morning of Thursday Oct. 29th hurricane Zeta left a horrible path of destruction through Alabama.  Many were left with damage, no power for days, and some are still waiting on power to be restored.

But unfortunately one of our very own caregivers lost everything that night.  During the storm Angela was sitting on her couch and something told her to move... the next thing she knew trees were coming through the ceiling. We are so grateful that she was not injured more than a few scrapes and bruises, but her home was completely destroyed. The fallen trees ripped through her mobile home and nothing is salvageable.  She needs everything from clothing, to food, household items, and a place to live.

As her employer, we are helping her by reaching out to local emergency aide resources but anything you can give to help her get back on her feet would be appreciated.  The money collected will be used specifically to help her pay for living expenses (securing an apartment and putting down a deposit), clothing, and household items to rebuild what was lost. 

Let me tell you about her...Angela has a heart for helping people. She is a nonmedical caregiver for Beyond Home Care and her clients absolutely love her! Even through losing everything just last week, she is already back to work, taking care of her clients that need her help. She is a strong Christian woman, and although most of us would be completely overwhelmed and devastated by her situation, she feels the Lord is blessing her daily! 

I know there are so many hurting right now, and so many people who have needs. If you are able to give even $5-10 it would make a huge difference in this woman's life, as she rebuilds from this traumatic loss. I have seen our community do amazing things to help one another, and this is one small way we can support someone through a devastating situation.
