Save Samson Fund

Donation protected
So far we've spent over $2500 on Samson's treatment and I've exhausted my resources.
Its so hard to ask for help, but I can only afford one more day of care at this rate and am desperate.
Many people have asked how they can help and right now the easiest most effective thing I can think of would be to donate to this fund so we can keep him under care and be able to give him the transfusions if neccessary.
Every little bit helps and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

-Bryan & Sam

As I sit here sobbing, this is the hardest thing I've ever written.
Most of you already know my beloved dog Sam got into my gym bag when I was out of town and ate a lethal amount of ibuprofen.  Fortunately my brother walked in and caught him red handed but the damage was already done.
Thank god our roomate David was there to be level headed, call poison control, and lift Sam into the truck to drive Anth and him to a vet.
They're frantically searching for a vet to take him to but it was Sunday and every vet clinic was closed.  All this after the poison control call told them they've got 10 minutes to get him to throw up before he absorbs a lethal dose.
I dont know how, but Anthony and David found a 24 hour emergency vet hospital and they were able to start treating him.
Since then he's been up and down.  His test levels on his kidneys and liver came back normal, so they were able to give him a medication called toxiban thats essentialy an activated charcoal paste.  Well he ate that right up and it was supposed to absorb all the toxins so he could pass them, but its been hard on his health.
Ive been visiting every morning and night.  Yesterday he was aware, chipper, and scarfed up his food right away.  I felt encouraged and hoped to pick Sammy up this morning and breathe a sigh of relief.  Sadly when I arrived they told me his levels were still normal but he had a lot of blood in his urine and diarreaha.
When I saw him he had to be wheeled in on a table cause he was too groggy to get up.  It really broke my heart to see him so weakened.  He had just had an accident because he's on so many fluids. I cleaned him off and spent the rest of the time they gave us telling him how much I loved him, he's always my baby, and we'll always be together.  The dr. said the blood in his urine and stool are probably from intestinal bleeding.  If it continues and he loses too much blood he may need a blood or plasma transfusion.
