In remembrance of Suwanna Janthorn Lam

Suwanna Janthorn Lam, mother of fellow Vietnamese Students Association and Filipino Students Association member Steve Lam, tragically passed from cervical cancer at age 55. With the help of loved ones, the Texas Vietnamese Students Association is looking to gather funds to help pay for the expense of the funeral and give a little peace of mind for Mrs. Lam's family to grieve without the additional burden of financial stress.
Even the smallest of donations would be appreciated; we are looking to raise $2,000 to cover a fraction of the overwhelming costs of having a funeral.
Steve Lam is an active member of both the VSA and FSA. Steve always has a smile on his face and gets along with everyone. Despite his busy schedule, he shows up to every event full of enthusiasm that certainly reflected on the other members. Steve is interning for both organizations in hopes of giving back to the community and becoming a future leader to inspire others.
