Niki's mission trip to Haiti

I have been presented with the opportunity to go to Haiti this summer from May 5th to the 12th with my church group (Christian Campus House) here in Maryville, MO. While we are there we will be building walls to provide security for the orphanage and the kids that live there. We will also be teaching English to the children there and interacting with the surrounding villages through service and other outreach opportunities. A teacher here at my college started and opened this particular orphanage with only 12 children, now there are about 50 kids in the orphanage and there are about 400 kids that attend school there. Our main goal while being there will be to help the local church that is there further its ministry to the villages in the area. Most of the children there were orphaned after the huge earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010. I am very excited to have this opportunity to go out and spread God's love and help these kids. However the trip costs $1400 and I am fundraising as well as saving for that. I would love if you could send your prayers and thoughts our way for the organization traveling to Haiti and of course the children we are going to help.
