Help relieve financial burden

Kevin, was enjoying his sons hockey tournament this weekend in Pei when things took a turn for the worst. He collapsed while standing letting the players in and out of the box. On February 22, Kevin who is 35 years old was immediately rushed to the Moncton hospital where they determined that he had an aneurysm. He underwent surgery on February 25th where they put in a coil to fix where the aneurysm was. Although the surgery has been considered to have been successful at stopping the bleeding and repairing the aneurysm, the rehabilitation from his surgery will be long and tough. Kevin will remain in critical care at the Moncton hospital for the next two weeks before he can be transferred closer to home, to the Saint John Regional hospital. Following his release from the hospital, he is not expected to be able to return to work for the next 8 to 12 months. 

Over the next few critical weeks, Kevin's wife Melissa and their three children Hayley, Jordan, and Jackson will be travelling back and forth to Moncton staying in hotels until he is released to the Saint John regional hospital. As if the stress of Kevin's debilitating injury is not enough, the financial worry is significant. Friends and family are pitching in where they can to help, but the financial burden being placed on his family during Kevin's total recovery will be a heavy load they should not have to concentrate on. Kevin's income was the primary income for the family. Melissa should be concentrating on Kevin's recovery, not on how she is going to make ends meet over the next 8 to 12 months.
