<div>Hello Everyone. My name is Stacy and we are the Lewis residents of Clovis. Last night after putting two toddlers down for bed, we heard a huge crash and our house shook a bit. In a panic, I called 911 while neighbors ran to my house to make sure we were okay and the driver. The car went speeding down Holland and crashed in our garage, after losing control of the vehicle. My brave neighbors pulled the female out of the garage but then the smoke started coming. My amazing neighbors screamed at us to get out now. While on the phone with 911, my husband and I ran to our girls and ran back out to safety. When we got the the edge of the grass, we saw the flames. We all watched out beautiful home catch fire… The damage is pretty extensive and the the home is not livable right now. My kids toys are destroyed and/or contaminated from when the firefighters had to put holes in the ceiling to get to the fire, carpets destroyed, roof severely damaged and destroyed in the front… Garage is completely destroyed, smoke damage, electrical damage, no more washer or dryer, all our food is currently going bad in the refrigerator because they had to cut power to the house… the list is just keeps getting longer. And to make it worse, my husband and I can’t go to work right now while we handle all this, so we have loss of wages currently. I am asking for help from our amazing community to help find our feet and build our house back up. Thank you for anything you can do, even if it is just a share.
