Help for a devastated family
On February 23rd - My father, Jim, took his own life. He wrote a letter to every one of his children (5 daughters, 1 son), explaining how much he loved us. He promised to see us in heaven.
My dad was a wonderful person. There is not a person he met that he didn't leave a footprint on their heart. His smile lit up a dark room. He was funny, gentle, kind, and loved his family more than anything in the world.
My dad started getting depression and slowly began to deteriorate throughout the last year. He never spoke of his depression, and tried to stay strong for his family.
When my dad woke up on the morning of February 23rd, he decided that he couldn't take the pain he held so deep inside, and took his own life. He kissed my mother, and told her that everything would be okay, and drove down the road where he made the ultimate decision to "Go home to God"
My mom found his wallet on the table, and he had about 20 dollars in it. She found that he had taken his I.D card to put on the dashboard of his truck, selflessly so that nobody would have to go through the trouble o
f identifying him.
Please help my mother earn enough money to get caught up on bills, arrange a burial, and relieve the financial burden she has to carry. Thank you so much.
