Help Romance Sparks Joy Share the Book Joy

Updated stretch goals: We are still reeling from the romance community's generosity in our first campaign. We were able to raise $1,000 in under two hours, all of which is being used to Share the Book Joy through buying books for fellow readers and also making buttons so we can spread the word about Romance Sparks Joy at upcoming conferences. To continue with our mission to amplify the voices of underrepresented romance authors and promote their stories of HEAs—Happiness for Everyone and Anyone—we have some exciting new ideas and want to ask for your help in realizing them. If just 40 people gave $25 we could knock out this goal just as fast! Can you help out? Digital Art - $300 We want to commission digital art from under-represented artists for each of the three titles we are reading. We still have some logistics to work out surrounding licensing and exact costs per piece, but we have estimates and big dreams. Ideally, these would be open source pieces both we and the author could use to promote our efforts while also contributing to the overall visual bank of art featuring under-represented characters and characters written by under-represented authors. Button Upgrade - $500 The buttons we got with our first round of funds went over great at KissCon in Chicago last weekend, spreading the word about the book club and, by extension, the featured authors. There are lots more conferences coming up between now and July and we’d like to place a larger button order to keep spreading the romance joy! Book Club Participation Incentives - $200 We want people to read, talk about, and get excited about each of our three books! We’ve got some folks working on sending out swag and paperback copies of these books, but we want to be able to open up all our giveaways internationally. If you’ve ever sent a book overseas though, you know it can get a little pricey. In the spirit of enabling everyone to participate in every aspect of this fun event, can you help us open up our giveaways to the whole world? With additional funds, we can really make an impact for the featured authors and provide a fun celebration for readers. Even $5, $10 or $25 will put us that much closer to our goal. We’re amplifying the voices of under-represented authors and promoting their happily ever after—happiness for everyone and anyone—via a social media book club.  We want everyone to be able to participate, regardless of book budget, so we would like to Share the Book Joy by giving ebook bundles of the three books the book club is reading: My So-Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma, Bad Blood by Minx Malone, and Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan. An ebook bundle costs $13.97. Can you donate that much today to help out a fellow book lover? We have other ambitious plans! Because this isn’t just about the book club—this is about amplifying the voices of under-represented authors. So here’s what we can do at various levels. When we hit our $1000 goal, we can do the following: · 45 ebook bundles to Share the Book Joy. · 10 paperback book bundles to use in giveaways for promoting these books to librarians and libraries. · 150 buttons to give to folks at conferences between now and July to spread the word about Romance Sparks Joy . If just 40 people give $25 each, we can meet our first goal. That’s not the end of our plans though! When we near our first goal, we’ll post an update with some even more ambitious plans!
