Cancer Treatment/Bills: Charolette's

Donation protected

Meet Charolette Clementson, wife to John Clementson of 43 plus years of marriage, mother of 7, grandmother to 12 (and counting),  daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and God fearing/following Christian. Charolette is the type of woman that will work hard and make sacrifices in order to put first/take care of her friends and family; the Proverbs 31 kind of woman. She is the mom that feeds you even if you have already eaten. She is the nurse that will bring you medicine, make you soup, and hot tea when you are sick. She is the mom/grandma that makes sure that everyone is included when they come over for family time or social events. She is the woman behind the scenes making good food, cleaning up other's messes, cooking for an army of visitors, and even the office manager for the small family garage door business. Always taking care of the "thankless" job that we all appreciate but never realize the work involved until that person is gone or physically unable to work. This same woman, Charolette Clementson, in 2012 was thrown a new challenge (like having and raising seven children wasn't enough :-) ), she was diagnosed with breast and bone cancer. This news was devastating to her friends and family. The wonder woman was sick and in pain, no longer able to juggle the normal tasks, for it was now painful to sleep and even get dressed in the morning. Since the diagnosis, Charolette has undergone dozens of treatments and a few surgeries to help reduce the pain and remove the cancerous tumors. Charolette continues to stay strong for her family and fights each day.

Charolette and her family have been able to get by with the medical bills for the past couple of years but due to the severity of the bone cancer, they are unable to afford the aggressive treatments required to keep her alive. This cost covers the bills for her most recent treatment but she will need more to keep the bone cancer from taking over her body. Any amount that you are able to give, will help. We need our Proverbs 31, wonder woman back!

History:
Diet Change: Upon discovering the news, Charolette changed her diet and chose to go the holistic route in her journey to recovery.

Breast Cancer: In 2012, Charolette had a lumpectomy, to remove the cancerous tumor from her left breast.

Bone Cancer: She then had surgery, in 2012, on her right arm to remove the large cancerous tumor and replaced part of her shattered bone (the cancer destroyed the top portion of her arm). She now has a part cadaver bone and a metal rod connecting her old and new bone together.

Bone Cancer (Continued): Charolette later developed, in 2013, a cancerous tumor in her tailbone that prevented her from performing normal bodily functions. As a result, she underwent intense treatment to shrink the tumor- for removing it would have possibly killed the nerves in that portion of the spine - rendering her unable to control her bodily functions (bowels and bladder). Shortly after this occurred, Charolette started to experience intense pain in her spine and left shoulder. She had difficulty sleeping and even getting dressed in the morning, was painful/challenging. At this point, she was forced to take a more aggressive approach and proceeded with an 8 week "live in" cancer treatment program. Since then, she has improved in overall health and the cancer has shrunk. She will need more treatments to completely dissolve the tumor lesions in her spine, hips, and left shoulder.

Charolette along with her friends and family are confident that she is strong enough to fight this cancer (with God's help, of course- for through Him all things are possible). We sincerely thank you in advance for any support you can provide whether it is money, encouragement, prayers, and/or spreading the word to those willing to help with this cause.
