Walk For Ukraine

Hey, we are raising money for the Ukrainian Collection Centre, Crosby. We are a collection of 12 sixteen year olds from across Merseyside. We are completing a social action project. Although this is one week long we plan to continue support throughout the crisis.
At the centre they:
 •Provide a free shop for Ukrainians in need of new clothes, these help all ages and all sizes to integrate into British society without feeling out of place. •Provide infants a nursery scheme •Provide beginner, intermediate and advanced English classes taught by an Ukrainian lady, Elena, a true Crosby Saviour •Introduce Ukrainians to employment support Money donated will: •Help fund new clothes for Ukrainian refugees •Help keep the communal social centre open •Help Ukrainians develop and integrate into society •Give a second chance to the victims of conflict in the Ukraine. On Friday we are holding a sponsored walk on Crosby beach from 9am to midday. The starting place is Crosby Leisure Centre, Mariners Road. We will be walking in blue and yellow to show solidarity with the centre. The target is £500! This is relatively low compared to what they need. However this will be a great building block to a developing centre. Having personally visited on multiple occasions we have seen the good this Charity does and how happy it makes the Ukrainians to have a social life over here in the United Kingdom, specifically Crosby.
