Be One of Charley's Angels

We are setting up this page on behalf of Charley Wozniczka and his parents Nicholas and Breanna Wozniczka. On Wednesday February 19, Nick took Charley to their pediatrician in Appleton because Charley was feeling tired. After an exam the Doctor ordered some blood work and referred Charley to Children's Hospital in Madison. Charley and his parents left for Madison later that day, a week before his 3rd birthday. When they arrived in Madison a team of Doctors had already diagnosed Charley with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Treatment for Charley will include chemotherapy and for the next 3 and a half years. His treatments began almost immediately, with Charley having a PICC line placed to receive his chemotherapy treatments. After placement of his PICC line Charley developed an irregular heartbeat and his team of Doctors did some more tests. An electorcardiogram found that Charley has two holes in his heart that will need to be surgically repaired. Charley will have to complete his treatment for leukemia before the holes in his heart can be surgically repaired.

Please join us in Being One of Charley's Angels! Charley and his parents have a long journey ahead of them, any prayers, love, support and donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
