Hello, thank you for taking the time to visit and read my story. Five years ago I went in to kidney failure and almost died twice. Since then life has had its ups and a lot of downs. I recieved a kidney transplant 2/6/2010 which has stabilized my life a bit.
Since May of 2013 I have been out of work and was semi homeless for 3 and a half months. I moved to my current apartment to be closer to my girlfriend who was fighting cancer in September 2013. I had a job lined up but unfortunately it fell through and I never started. I was living off unemployment but that came to an end on December 28th.
Although I have filled out countless applications and sent out countless resumes I have been unable to find a job. I lost my car in December and my girlfriend lost her battle with cancer in January. Everything I own is in storage and I am locked out. I can't afford to pay the bill to get my belongs out. At the end of the month (I'm on a month to month basis) I may have to leave my apartment and will be homeless. At that point I may have to give up my 2 dogs which are my chldren since it is not possible for me to have any. They would end up in a shelter which would kill me because they would probably never find happiness like the three of us have. With the money I would use it to pay my rent and find a cheap car to continue my search for employement. I would also use it to get my belongings out of storage. As you can see life is hard and I know I'm not the only one. I never took money from the government while I was on dialysis because I was always taught to take care of myself. I was also denied Public Assistance this
month. At this point though I don't have any more resources to do so. I need help. Please help me get back on my feet and help me keep the only thing I have left which is my 2 dogs Bauer and Matilda. Thank you, Jim
