Tuition, Cana New Wine Seminary

Donation protected

Hey all,

So for the last 6 months or so, I've been really bent on doing this 3 month seminary out here in Portland Oregon. I've been working my way through the 25 book reading list beforehand. This seminary is the reason China got put on the backburner (I'm sure plenty of you heard about that...lol), and why I drove cross country to Portland this last month.
Most recently I was working as a waiter until the Restaurant I worked at closed at the end of December, putting me out of a job. In faith, I came out here to Portland early before the seminary in hopes of landing a new one, and two weeks after being here the job search continues.

Some info on the seminary:

This is a ONE TIME summer long event where PhD Theologians, Itinerant Ministers, Pastors, and Best Selling Authors are all sharing the same stage. The lecturers include:

-Dr. C. Baxter Kruger- Theologian, studied under James B. Torrance, author
-Francois de Tuoit - Bible Translator (Mirror Translation)
-Dr. Steve McVey- Founder of Grace Walk, best selling author
-Dave Vaughan- Revivalist, Big Brother TV show runner up, the "Drunk Monk"
-Benjamin Dunn- Author, Missionary, Joy Revolution founder
-Jeff Turner- Sound of Awakening Ministries founder, pastor
-Dr. Eric Wilding- Professor at Grace Communion Seminary
-Andre Rabe- South African Author, Itinerant Minister
-Matt Spinks- Found of Fire House Projects
-John Crowder- Best selling author, Itinerant Minister
-Rod Williams- Pastor, Theologian
-Tony Seigh- Itinerate Minister, Outreach leader IHOP

Why I want to go:

I believe that being around and learning from people who are actively making a difference in so many lives will mold my character and life's mission in a way I can't anticipate. These guys are all radical lovers and world changers, and it's going to rub off on me.

I've tossing around the idea of going into ministry, divinity school, or studying theology for a bit now, and feel like this school will help me start moving in that direction.

Where I've found the most joy and fulfillment in life has been through investing in peoples lives, and learning grace. I want to know what grace really is and I want to live it out.

This education is focused entirely on Grace and will be a life investment for me, and a launching pad for where I head from here on.

To be honest, I have a lot of trouble asking for money I didn't earn. Anything you might feel compelled to give will truly be a gift, and quite simply an act of grace.
Said straight, I really want to do this seminary, I'm doing what I can to earn the money myself but am still coming short. Even small donations are greatly appreciated. Help me out if you'd like. If you don't want to donate through this website (they do deduct 5%), shoot me a facebook message and I'll send you my address. The original deadline was March 31st, but the school said they'd give me a little more time to get the money in.

Love you guys!
