All our public fundraising events had to be cancelled. In response, we developed this alternative, virtual fundraising initiatives to enable continued support of our learners and fund vital projects such as the proposed Science Lab

Welcome to the Sierra Leone Grammar School fundraising page! 

The Sierra Leone Grammar School (SLGS) was established in 1845 and is the oldest secondary school in West Africa. An all-boys secondary school, SLGS has been synonymous with academic achievement throughout its long history, schooling future scientist, poets, medical pioneers and Nobel Prize winners. It is now one of the most prestigious secondary schools in Sierra Leone. 

Various events and activities are organised each year, raising funds to improve the school and continue its legacy of developing Sierra Leone’s future by supporting the brilliant young minds of today. 

 SLGS OBA UK is looking for funds to support the following: 

 Student scholarships via the Gifted and Talented programme 
 Establishment of a STEM Curriculum throughout the school 
The ongoing rebuilding of the school’s Science Labs 
Anti-Covid-19 measures such as free masks, virtual classrooms and hygiene stations 
Refurbishment and modernization of Information Technology Labs 
Installation of Wi-Fi and superfast broadband on campus
